I have been sick for the last two days. My symptoms match those of H1N1: the swine has struck. But I really don't feel all that bad. My ability to focus, which wasn't one of my strong points to begin with, has decreased. Or, I should say, it has decreased in certain areas, like all things related to responsibility (work, school, etc), but I have been able to maintain focus while reading about biking.

Mountain biking is one of my loves in life. Really, being on two wheels and propelling myself is a passion of mine. I tried to get on the trainer and ride inside today but I started to sweat mounting Sally (the Niner Air9, short for "Salvation"). So, no riding for me until I overcome this unkosher virus.

Sarah has been trying to nurse me back to health, and has been doing a great job. Last night she made dinner and brought me lots of fluids, what a great nurse. But I pray that I won't infect her. Today she watched her sister Nikki's two kids, Avery and Jaden, for most of the day. Right now Avery loves to wear her purple beanie. Sarah took them to a park today after Avery got out of preschool. Avery sported her ever-present purple beanie and some sunglasses, I hear she looked quite intimidating.

The following photos are from our honeymoon in Vail. I will let them do the story telling.
